  • Vehicles do not have any sign writing or show any company logo, we also stagger the times we visit (unless specified by the customer) this way there are no obvious signs that the homeowner is away

Our aim is simple: To make your cat feel as though it’s the most loved cat on the planet!

Cats prefur Home philosophy is:

To provide a professional, personal and high quality service to our customers and provide a loving, reassuring and as stress free as possible experience for your cat. Knowing that pet and owner are happy and reassured, results in a memorable experience for all.

What our visit includes:­

  • Lots of personal love and attention for your pet 

  • Food & water bowl washed and contents replenished 

  • Basic grooming (if cat will tolerate) 

  • Daily prescribed medication administered (sorry, no longer administering Insulin injections)

  • Litter tray/s cleared and topped up (owners supply) 

  • Mail brought in 

  • Indoor house plants watered 

  • Wheelie bins put out and taken in 

  • Curtains/blinds opened & closed (2 visits per day customers only) 

  • Key collection & keys returned the day after customer returns (this enables us to take care of your cat should your return home be delayed)

  • We request that you complete our Cat Visiting Agreement Form prior to our visit so that we can capture all of your requirements­

On Saturdays, Sundays, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Bank Holidays visits are restricted to once a day morning visits only.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

  • Any additional items (cat litter, small animal bedding, food, etc) to be provided by owner or charged at cost of item 

  • Basic return home shopping service (Bread, milk, eggs, etc) – no charge for service - customer to please leave a shopping list with cash for items to be purchased 

  • Other areas may be covered, please enquire regarding costs 

  • Christmas Day and New Year’s Day charged at twice the daily rate, Boxing Day charged as weekends 

  • 50% deposit required at time of key collection or introductory meeting (non-refundable), remainder upon 1st visit (non-refundable)

  • Visits are usually up to 30 mins, however on weekends/school holidays the visit time may vary due to high demand 

  • Peace of mind picture messages of your cat/cats and texts are sent FREE of charge as part of the service

  • For once off visits, a surcharge of £4.00 is charged for the collection and return of house keys
